Hey David... Don't fret, as you are not the only one who is having
problems with this program, or should I say more specifically, it's
manual. In fact, I recently upgraded in order to get what I was told,
was a much improved manaul. What I got was the same manual with the
addition of a reference section. I just sit here and shake my head with
disgust at all of the great programming being distributed with really
weak documentation. It was a real treat to find a hefty manual with the
World Construction Set (660 pages) and am making heavy use of my new
reading glasses ;))
Anyway, to get back on track... I too cannot use Sparks very effectivly
and therefore that often. One day, someone will put out a series of
tutorials on the subject (I understand LIGHTSPEED, the video magazine is
going to have some sparks tutorials) and we can all begin to use it. In
the meantime, I have vowed to NOT purchase ANY software until I hear
from others that the documentation is what is should be. But then, if
it were not for poor docs, an entire third party market would be put out
in the cold ;))
I did get the same results with the dripping text that you got. But
after purchasing the upgrade to get the same results, I just through it
in a drawer and forgot it.......
Good Luck.......
